Upland Fiber Co. is an independent, gay-owned yarn company focused on creating beautiful, all-natural fiber products in collaboration with local farmers and artisans in the US, as well as supporting a diverse community of fiber artists.

Upland has three meanings for us:

• In a very literal sense it is alluding to a northerly direction. On the east coast, heading upland would mean heading away from the sea towards higher ground. Upland speaks to where our very first yarn is coming from here in the northeast.
• In a more metaphorical sense, Upland refers to heading toward a safer space, which I think is something that we are all in search of these days.
• And finally, Upland is a low key reference to the Broadway musical Wicked ("Galinda Upland, of the Upper Uplands"), in which Upland Fiber Co. founder, Michael Seelbach, was an original Broadway cast member.

Currently Standard Domestic shipping is free with any purchase greater than $150 US, and Standard Canadian Shipping is free with any purchase over $200 CAD.

Though we will always try to get your packages to you as quickly as possible, your order should be processed and in the mail within a maximum of 2-3 business days. If you have not received shipping confirmation after the third business day, please reach out to us at info@uplandfiberco.com

If you are wanting to return your yarn please first reach out to us at info@uplandfiberco.com with your order information.

Yarn must be in its original condition. We cannot accept returns of yarn that have been wound, or in any way used.

If your package has been damaged on its way to you affecting the product, please take a picture of it and send that along to us with your inquiry.

The best way to do an exchange is to first follow the instructions for Refunds above. If your product is returned and accepted, your funds will be refunded and you can then place a new order for the desired item.

We are not currently offering wholesale orders of our yarn. But, we would love to know if interest exists for wholesale orders in the future. Please reach out to us at info@uplandfiberco.com so that we know of your interest and can add you to a list of future contacts.
