from 63 reviewsPolypaca yarn is wonderful for sweater knitting. The colors are natural, rich and sophisticated. The yarn texture is soft and fluffy with great definition.
Thank you Upland Fiber - this yarn is the real deal!
The pride pin is high quality and I have it pinned to a craft project bag. I'm very happy with it and all it means.
Love the way this feels. Its easy to knit with and is a beautiful color.
Beautiful yarn! Lovely to work with. I love everything about the Upland Fiber Co. yarns.
When we complimented the memorably delicious blintzes, cookies, or apple cake our Grandma Sadie created, she would response by listing the ingredients and then say, "What's not to like?" Regarding COR fingering's Glacier, it's a case of Cormo, Corriedale, and Michael's love, so "What's not to love?" There is so much to love that it inspired me to order a skein of the Medallion colorway to knit Scott Rohr's Edlred scarf.
COR (Corriedale/Cormo) is lovely. It feels soft to my skin, with just a hint of crunch. The color storm is exactly what I hoped for, the blue gray of clouds when you’re waiting for the thunderstorm. I can’t wait to cast on!
My order arrived promptly and was packed with special care.
I've had many yarn crushes through my years of knitting, but this is the first time I've fallen in love with a yarn. With only one skein as an appetizer, I knit David Van De Kamp's Enya headband to gift to a friend. Oh, my. The thickly cabled braid sprung to life in the Polypaca. As delightful as the finished product looked, after washing and gently blocking it, the yarn's bloom is a marvel . I've been raving about the yarn to all my knitting friends since I opened the package last week. I had to order a few skeins of Cor to explore Michael's signature yarn. They are on my desk to admire before using them for a simple color block shawl and a thin striped scarf.
As loathe as I am to create gratis marketing material for companies, the Upland Fiber Co. is different. I am happy to support Michael and his team. The bag has been in use since I unpacked it earlier this week. The strap is long enough that I can easily loop it around my shoulder; the material is sturdy; the logo happily noticeable, as I am a gay male who knits with pride. My only caveat is that the bag be a tiny bit wider at the bottom to more easily stand up. With my phone in the front pocket, it tends to fall forward. BUY THIS BAG, period.
Always a pleasure to order from this company! Excellent product!
Love this combo of fiber. I am a huge fan of purposeful and thoughtful fiber choices (I also spin, a lot)
Great bag. Perfect size for sweater project. Good quality.
Amazing depth of color and super soft. Highly recommend
I love this yarn! The color is fabulous and the feel of the yarn while knitting is so enjoyable. Plotting what the next project will be already!
It’s absolutely beautiful. It will make a beautiful gift!
