The Mariner Scarf is an easy knit, and a classic wardrobe staple that looks good on everyone. The fisherman's rib pattern is believed to have been first widely used in the Aran islands off the coast of Ireland in the 1800's. The simple but effective stitch, creates more depth and character than a standard rib, making it a great choice for warmth, coziness, and timeless style.
